Slap Tongue - Mouth
In this particular slap tongue technique, the top of the tongue presses the tip of the reed against the mouthpiece and curls up along the sides of the reed and mouthpiece. It may also touch the hard palate. The portion of the tongue in contact with the tip of the reed quickly pulls back, causing the reed to snap away from the mouthpiece.
